AP EdCET 2023 Results : The Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET) for the year 2023 was held on May 20th. This entrance test is conducted by Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. The Andhra University in Visakhapatnam has announced that the results for the AP EdCET 2023 will be released in June 2023. Aspiring candidates can check and download their AP EdCET 2023 result and rank card in online mode through the official website and Manabadi.co.in. The candidates who successfully meet the minimum qualification marks criteria will be shortlisted based on the merit list, after the declaration of the result.

Candidates (except SC/ST) who appeared for the AP EdCET 2023 entrance test must obtain a minimum of 37 marks out of the total marks (i.e., 25%) to qualify for ranking. However, for candidates belonging to the SC/ST communities, there are no prescribed qualifying marks for ranking purposes. In the case of Physical Sciences/Mathematics methodologies, there are no minimum qualifying marks for women candidates.

Candidates appearing for the AP EdCET 2023 examination will be ranked in each methodology based on the marks obtained in the test. In case of a tie in total marks, the marks obtained in Part-C will be taken into account to determine the relative ranking. If there is still a tie, then the marks obtained in Part-A will be considered for deciding the relative ranking.
In the event of candidates receiving equal marks in all parts of the test paper, they will be bracketed for the purpose of awarding rank. During admission, age will be taken into consideration for relative ranking among the bracketed candidates, and the older candidates will be given priority. It is important to note that the rank secured in AP EdCET 2023 is valid only for admission into the B.Ed. course for the academic year 2022-2023.

Understanding Local Area-wise Reservations for AP EdCET 2023 Admission
Admission to 85% of the seats in each methodology for AP EdCET 2023 shall be reserved for local candidates, while the remaining 15% of seats will be unreserved, as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order 1974, amended in G.O.P.No.646 Education (W) Department, dated July 10th, 1979.
To clarify, the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, and Prakasam will be considered as Andhra University-Local Area, while Anantapur, Kurnool, Chittoor, Kadapa, and Nellore will be considered as Sri Venkateswara University-Local Area. All districts of Telangana will be regarded as Osmania University-Local Area.
For state-wide institutions such as Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam, Tirupati, and Dravidian University, Kuppam, admission to 85% of the seats in each methodology shall be reserved for candidates belonging to the three local areas mentioned above, while the remaining 15% of seats shall be left for open competition.
Candidates who are regarded as local candidates in relation to a local area shall have preference over non-local candidates. If a local candidate in respect to a local area is unavailable to fill any seat reserved or allocated in favor of a local candidate in respect to that local area, such seats shall be filled as if they have been unreserved.
Additionally, candidates falling under specific categories are eligible to apply for admission to the remaining 15% of unreserved seats.

AP EdCET 2023 Document Verification: Important Documents to Carry
Candidates are required to attend the certificate verification process at one of the following Helpline centers:
- Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur
- Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati
Candidates belonging to PH/CAP/SPORTS/NCC categories will have their certificates verified at the above-mentioned centers.
PH candidates must produce a certificate issued by the District Medical Board. Only candidates with a disability of 40% or above are eligible.
CAP candidates must produce a certificate issued by the Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer (in case of ex-servicemen). They must also provide their identity card and discharge book for verification.
AP-EdCET Counseling: Step-by-Step Guide to Exercise Web Options
- Open the website http://apedcet.apsche.ac.in. The homepage will be displayed.
- Click on the Web Options link to exercise options.
- Read the instructions displayed in the Instructions to Candidate window carefully.
- Click on the “I Understood” button after reading the instructions.
- Enter the details as shown in the option form and click on the Submit button.
- The option form will be displayed with the list of eligible colleges on the left side based on gender and specialization.
- The saved options can be viewed and printed by clicking on the Print Options link from the homepage.
- The web options will be closed at 00.00 Hrs midnight on the last date specified in the notification.
- The options will be processed on the specified dates, and the results will be communicated through SMS to the registered mobile number.
